D.C. High School Students Learn About Careers in the Arts Through Bloomberg Arts Internships
We’re thrilled to announce that our talented student, Taylor Banks, has been featured in The Washington Informer! Taylor recently completed a summer internship at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens as part of our Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) program, a partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies.
In the article, Taylor shares her experiences and the valuable skills she gained during her internship. We’re incredibly grateful to the team at Hillwood for their support of our program and for providing such enriching opportunities for Taylor and our other interns.
The BAI program empowers young artists like Taylor by providing them with paid internships at cultural institutions across Washington, D.C. This past summer, 45 public high school students participated, gaining valuable skills in creative disciplines, professional development, and workplace readiness. These experiences equip them for success in higher education or any career field they choose to pursue.
We’re incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the impact of the BAI program on young artists.
