Capital Bop – Spotlight Residency: Jazz Masterclass

Capital Bop's new Spotlight Residency series will bring a different jazz teaching artist to Sitar Center’s theater to work with Sitar music students (in Aug, Sept, and Oct) for a workshop-masterclass featuring that artist's band. This workshop features professional jazz tenor saxophonist, Elijah Jamal Balbed.      

SAFE SPACES- A Youth Documentary Film

Join us for the premiere of SAFE SPACES, a Sitar student documentary film, produced in partnership with Meridian Hill Pictures. The performance includes a panel discussion featuring the student filmmakers and a reception.
