Call for Artists for Juried Exhibit
Sixth Annual Patricia Sitar Juried Arts Exhibition:
Works with Paper
Sitar Arts Center celebrates arts in the community, with our sixth annual juried exhibit. The 2015 Patricia Sitar Arts Juried Exhibition will showcase work from local artists, including student and parent artists from the Sitar community in a variety of mediums. The exhibit runs from October 26, 2015 to December 5, 2015 with a reception on November 5, 2015 at 6:30 pm. The deadline to apply is October 24, 2015 at 3:00 pm.

Theme: Works with Paper
The exhibition will allow the artist the opportunity to challenge their creativity by using paper as the main subject and concept of the piece. Works with Paper submissions must show the manipulation of paper in some form to change the identity or use of the paper to represent your concept or idea. Manipulation of paper can include, but not limited to, construction, collage, cutting, folding, binding, etc. Work must have been created within the last five years. The works will be judged on aesthetic quality, craftsmanship, composition and relation to theme.

Youth 1st Place: $50
Youth 2nd Place: $25
Young Adult 1st Place: $100
Young Adult 2nd Place: $50
Adult 1st Place: $200 + solo exhibition at Sitar
Adult 2nd Place: $100

Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony
November 5, 2015, 6:30 PM
All entries must be accompanied by an entry form and entry fee. Monetary prizes will be awarded. Images should be appropriate for viewing by children.
