Korina is a longtime DMV resident and will serve as the Senior Manager of Youth Workforce Development. In this role she will support the execution of Sitar’s blossoming internship and workforce programming. Before beginning her work at Sitar, Korina served as a Program Manager at a nearby DC arts organization. Korina has spent over 8 years serving local youth in education, the arts, and workforce development. Outside of her role at Sitar, Korina is a working mixed media artist that focuses on the magic of everyday life. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and has plans to continue towards a path of Art Therapy in the future. Korina is very thrilled to continue her love for working with youth by supporting the next enclave of young artists and professionals
