Nickole Best serves Sitar’s community as Manager of Youth Workforce Development. In this role, she leads Sitar’s Emerging Arts Leaders (S.E.A.L.) school year teen program, oversees the S.E.A.L Summer Internship program, and supports the implementation of the Bloomberg Arts Internship as well as ArtsAdvance Career Studios, Sitar’s newest workforce development program. Nickole has over 10 years of experience in youth development and community engagement. She is a singer and musician who uses music as a means to build community. In working at Sitar, Nickole has found a way to combine her passion for youth education and her enthusiasm for the arts. She holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and an MBA from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
